XSolver update
XSolver seems to be attracting over 1,100 visits a month thanks to being on the front page of Google for 'online crossword solver' and 'crossword solver online'.
It's even growing a regular user-base - over 50% of the traffic is returning visitors and 'xsolver' is one of the top 3 referring keywords.
I've updated the structure to match the new half-baked house style, added a form so that users can add words and definitions to the dictionary, added some Google AdWords, and added a page-per-word function that generates HTML pages for words that have definitions.
Only 4 words have definitions at the moment but gradual growth is the preferred option. It will be interesting to see how the site develops.
Networking diary thing
The idea of an networking events diary has been floating around for a while. I don't really feel it's a big enough to idea to warrant its own website, and it would seem to make sense to perhaps plug it into the CamWebDir events diary or perhaps stick in on Cambridge Creatives. Something to ponder on methinks.
Meanwhile, the priority this week is supposed to be Property Database UK and its login functions but the Cambridge Creatives website does need an quick overhaul to bring into line with the new house style.
