Half Baked Ideas uses the bare minimum of browser storage needed to work — no advertising or tracking cookies, and no CAPTCHA.
What we store
Sign-in token — when you log in, the web app keeps a secure token (and a little basic info such as your name) in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. This is strictly necessary for the service.
Website session — the main website uses a single session cookie to remember you're signed in.
What we don't use
No third-party advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no analytics that profile you, and no CAPTCHA services (which commonly track users). We don't need a cookie banner because we don't set non-essential cookies.
Managing it
You can clear your browser's storage or cookies at any time — doing so will simply sign you out. Questions: mat@typomania.technology.
